So, it’s nothing big, but I’m down three pounds since my last post. I am currently on week five of my Couch to 5k program. I even ran on the treadmill today at 6 miles per hour for more than five minutes at a time. Just running on the treadmill makes me feel skinnier. In my head I look like this:
In reality, I probably look more like this:
Oh well. At least I’m doing it. I’m also doing personal training, zumba, and cycling this week. And that’s my justification for ordering the #2 at McDonald’s tonight. Clearly, I have fat girl mentality.
Here is my motivation motto for the week that I found on Pinterest. If you haven’t tried it yet, Pinterest is both wonderful and terrible at the same time. It’s wonderful because there are all sorts of awesome crafts, recipes, decor ideas, etc.. It’s terrible because I will never do any of said projects that I waste an inordinate amount of time ‘pinning’. Anyway, here’s the quote:
Amen. This should read, “Someone who has spent a lot less time on Pinterest than you is running right now.” At least I know I’m not the only one.
