A Sigh of Relief for Healthcare

  • I am a woman...

    I have a 20 year-old son-

I have a son diagnosed with life-threatening illness during childhood

    ______________What does this mean?_______________________

1.) I will no longer be charged higher insurance rates because of my genitals

2.) My oldest can now keep our insurance (instead of setting his own broken leg)

3.) My youngest son can't be dropped by greedy insurers who don't want to keep their side of the bargain.

I am not a raging, socialist, liberal, anti-Constitutional-ist. I'm an American mother who wants her family to stay healthy and strong. I don't want other families to have their entire life-savings wiped out facing homelessness like us, because the costs of dealing with health care costs due to a health care crises is excessive--- no matter how much you have saved for a "rainy day".  So today I thank the Supreme Court and breath a sigh of relief. Others may vehemently disagree. Which is your right, just like health care. Which is the beauty of our ever-evolving and great nation.
