Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

  • I have always loved buffalo chicken with blue cheese dressing but ever since we found out that we were having a baby, I haven’t craved much nor could I even think or look at certain foods during my first trimester.  Heck, I couldn’t even watch my favorite television station (The Food Network).  Just recently, I had a craving for a buffalo chicken sandwich and I went with it!  This sandwich was sooooooo good and hit the spot; especially with crisp lettuce and a cold slice of tomato on top… home-grown from our garden!

If you like buffalo chicken, you will LOVE this recipe!

    Ingredients

    4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

    S&P

1 (17.5 oz.) bottle hot sauce (your fav… I used Red Hot)

1 package dry ranch salad dressing mix

    2 Tbsp. butter

    Plain Sandwich Buns

    Directions

    Place Chicken in Crockpot.

Sprinkle with S & P then pour hot sauce over everything.

Sprinkle dry ranch dressing mix on top then cut up butter in little pieces and place on top of each chicken breast.

Cover and cook one of two ways: Low for 6 hours or High for 4 hours.

Shred Chicken and mix everything together.

Serve on a toasted bun with lettuce and tomato and blue cheese (or ranch) dressing!

Angelique Lorence Thank You Pamela & Jen! Jen S. - The Potatoes are cut how you see and roasted at 400 for maybe 40 min. I seasoned with S&P, Parsley, Paprika, EVOO, maybe a touch of Italian Seasoning and all mixed together then roasted! YUM :) Enjoy!
