  Got any tips on how to expand your readership?

  Here's what I'm currently doing to bump my readership: 1) Blog every day M-F 2) Use my blog FB at least one extra time per day (besides posts) to build community 3) grown my FB page (it's quadrupled so far this year!)
  
  Who else has ideas? Let's share!

  Shannon that's great because I see a lot of people posting away but not responding. I mean I'm pretty guilty of that when it comes to Facebook but Twitter is my baby. My stats also say I get about 65% of my traffic from Twitter which is a really awesome thing. I think it really is more effective if you pick one or even 2 that you're comfortable with and focus on those.

  I've found that growing the community on my FB page has helped (though I am avoiding looking at my stats more than once per week, so the full impact has been harder to see. I have gotten a lot of interaction with posting some of the viral pictures and appropriate jokes and ecards on my FB page as well as asking for advice. I have a major event in the works for November that I hope to be a big boost in growth. Still hashing out all those details! I know I need to be intentional more about my time with God and prayer to be certain I am in His will as I blog. When I go at it on my own, things don't do well. When I follow His lead, things flourish.

  My views have increased dramaticly also since I started posting on Facebook and Twitter.  The number of comments has stayed about the same, though.
